Ensuring workplace safety is a paramount concern for employers and employees alike. Accidents and medical emergencies can happen at any time, making it essential to have trained personnel who can respond effectively. OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) recognizes the importance of preparedness and recommends that workplaces have individuals trained in First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). Our First Aid and CPR course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond confidently and effectively in emergencies.

1. Life-Saving Techniques:

  • Learn how to assess and respond to a variety of medical emergencies, including heart attacks, strokes, choking incidents, and injuries.
  • Understand the importance of the "Chain of Survival" in cardiac arrest situations.

2. Hands-On Training:

  • Practice CPR techniques on manikins to develop proper chest compressions and rescue breaths.
  • Gain proficiency in using automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

3. Bleeding Control and Wound Care:

  • Acquire essential skills in controlling bleeding and providing basic wound care to prevent infection.

4. Choking Response:

  • Learn to recognize and respond to choking incidents, both for conscious and unconscious victims.

5. Certification:

  • Upon successful completion of the course, receive certification in First Aid and CPR, valid for two years.

Upon completing this First Aid and CPR course, participants will:

Students can take the course test after studying the course material and passing the module quizzes. The purpose of the course exam is to gauge how well the students have understood the topic. Multiple-choice questions drawn from our sizable question library make up course exams.

Pattern:

  • Time allowed is 2 hours and exam will be open book.
  • To pass the test, you must receive a minimum score of 65%.
  • You can repeat the exam if you don't pass the first time.
  • Exams can only be taken three (3) times in a 10-hour period by students.
  • Students must wait 24 hours before taking the test again after their third try. Students should reread the course material to increase their understanding during this period.
  • You cannot repeat the test to get a better score if you pass.
  • There isn't a thorough programme exam available right now. Students must succeed on all of their course exams in order to finish the programme.
