ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) Lead Auditor Course

The ISO 9001 Lead Auditor course prepares you to execute a Quality Management System (QMS) audit by utilising widely accepted audit concepts, processes, and techniques. During this training session, you will learn how to plan and carry out internal and external audits in accordance with ISO 19011 as well as the certification process in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1.

You will be able to grasp audit methodologies through practical exercises and become competent to manage an audit programme, audit team, customer communication, and conflict resolution.

The participant will be able to do the following by the end of this training course:

  • Explain the core concepts and principles of an ISO 9001-based quality management system (QMS).
  • From the standpoint of an auditor, interpret the ISO 9001 requirements for a QMS.
  • Assess the QMS's conformance to ISO 9001 criteria using the fundamental audit concepts and principles.
  • Plan, conduct, and close an ISO 9001 compliance audit in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 specifications, ISO 19011 recommendations, and other auditing best practises.
  • Oversee an ISO 9001 auditing programme.

Trainers can take the course test after studying the course material and passing the module quizzes. The purpose of the course exam is to gauge how well the students have understood the topic. Multiple-choice questions drawn from our sizable question library make up course exams.

Pattern:

  • Time allowed is 2 hours and exam will be open book.
  • To pass the test, you must receive a minimum score of 65%.
  • You can repeat the exam if you don't pass the first time.
  • Exams can only be taken three (3) times in a 48-hour period by students.
  • Students must wait 48 hours before taking the test again after their third try. Students should reread the course material to increase their understanding during this period.
  • You cannot repeat the test to get a better score if you pass.
  • There isn't a thorough programme exam available right now. Students must succeed on all of their course exams in order to finish the programme.
